This pork chop recipe is adapted from here, I love allrecipes.com.  The sauce is just like a stroganoff, but the whole thing took about 30 minutes.

3 T butter

1 clove garlic, smashed

1 onion, diced (I used a handful of dried, chopped onion (from costco)

Melt butter in a large pan and cook the garlic and onion until soft.

Add up to 6 pork chops and brown on each side.

Add 3/4 cup chicken broth.  Cover and cook on low until meat is cooked through and juices are cooked down by about half.

When the meat is done, take it from the pan and add 1 cup sour cream. Mix the sauce together and spoon over the meat.

*This would be excellent over wide egg noodles

*Original recipe called for 2 teaspoons paprika to be added with the sour cream and I just totally forgot. I really want to try that next time.  Yum.

*If I was doing 6 pork chops I’d double the sauce.
