Easy Clam Chowder

from my friend,  Stephanie.  Freezes well, make a double or triple batch.

2 c potatoes, diced
1 c carrots, chopped
½ c celery, chopped (opt.)

Boil in water with salt and pepper.  Drain if you want it to be creamy, or leave some water if you want to make it a little thinner.

Add:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
2 cans clams + juice
2 c milk
2 T butter
Cover and simmer 2 minutes.
