Honey-Baked French Toast

This gets 7 stars out of 5. SO good. You won’t need syrup.

4 T butter
3 T honey
2/3 c orange juice
4 large eggs
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t salt
pinch of nutmeg
6 (1/2″ to 3/4″) thick French bread

Heat oven to 375. Put butter and honey into a glass 9X13 pan and heat in the oven until butter melts and
honey is bubbling. Remove from oven and stir well.

In another dish, whisk together everything else but bread. Dip bread in and make sure it is coated well and allowed
to soak a bit. Set each slice in the honey butter pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until well browned.

Before serving, flip over each slice to the honey butter side is up.
