1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar, plus extra for rolling balls in
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 t salt
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla
1 t baking soda
Mix the dough together, and form into balls. Roll each ball in white sugar. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Put a Hersheys kiss in the middle of each cookie as soon as they come out of the oven.
