Grilled Corn on the Cob

Peel back the husks and remove as much of the silks as possible:

Pull the husks back up over the corn and completely submerge the ears in water for 15 minutes:

Drain the pot, and gently shake each ear to remove as much water as possible.

Place the corn on the grill and turn each ear every five minutes:

The husks will char and might catch fire.  That’s fine.

When it looks pretty done, use tongs to remove the husks.  You might want to rise the corn off to get rid of the ash and burned silks.  Enjoy.
