How fun is this? I wish the picture was better to show you how fun it really turned out. The recipe called for 4 small boxes of jello, but I didn’t read the recipe until it was too late. It worked fine with 3 boxes.

4 small boxes of jello, different colors
1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin (like Knox brand)
Make each box of small jello using 1 cup of boiling water. Do not add any cold water. I put each color in a different mini bread pan. After the jello is totally hard, take it out of the pan (hot water for a few seconds on the bottom and each side will loosen it easily) and cut it into small pieces. Put all the pieces in a 9X13 pan or a 2+ quart dish (we liked the deeper container to cut slices – it was prettier) and use your hands to gently mix the colors together.
In a medium bowl, empty the two envelopes of gelatin and stir in 1/4 cup cold water to dissolve. Add 1 3/4 very hot tap water and the can of milk. Stir well. After the mix cools to tepid, pour over the jello blocks. Refrigerate several hours until firm.
Slice and enjoy.
